Privacy Policy

By default every event you create stays on your device, and nothing is sent to the developer. Only when you choose a system calendar (Google, Outlook, …) as the save destination — either the default in Settings or for a single event on the new-event screen — are events added to that calendar, with syncing handled by iOS and that service. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no servers.
1. Information we collect
None. zerocal has no sign-up, no backend server, and makes no network requests of its own. Events you enter (title, date, time, location, notes, alert settings, repeat settings) are stored in your device's local storage — or, if you picked a system calendar as the save destination, in that calendar on your device. The sentences you type are interpreted on your device.
2. Device permissions
| Calendar | With your permission, zerocal displays events from calendars already on your device (iCloud, Google, Outlook, etc.). Only when you choose a system calendar as your “Save To” destination does zerocal add the events you create to that calendar. Existing events are changed or deleted only when you tap Save or Delete yourself (for repeating events zerocal asks what to apply the change to first; events with guests and events in subscribed calendars are never changed by zerocal), and your events are never transmitted anywhere. |

3. Data sharing
We share nothing. zerocal contains no ad SDKs, no analytics, and no third-party libraries.
4. Purchases
If you buy zerocal Pro, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. zerocal receives no payment details and no personal information; the app only checks with Apple, on your device, whether Pro is unlocked.
5. Data transfers you initiate
- Export (.ics) — a standard calendar file is created only when you choose to export, and you pick where it goes.
- Open in Maps — the location text of an event is passed as a search query to the map app you chose in Settings (Apple Maps, Google Maps, Naver Map, or KakaoMap). If that app isn't installed, its web map opens instead, which sends the location text to that service in the URL.
6. Data retention & deletion
Deleting the app deletes the events stored in zerocal. Events you added to a system calendar remain there — delete them in that calendar's app or service (Google, Outlook, …).
7. Children's privacy
zerocal collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
8. Changes to this policy
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
